Thrustmaster “Universal Challenge 5-in-1 Racing Wheel” is a pack of attachment for Nintendo Wii which mainly include a wireless go-kart style driving wheel with a sporty rubber grib. There’s a cool Ferrari logo on the wheel, indicating the icon of automotive competition and victory. The pack also comes with two Ferrari-style digital gear shift levers located on the wheel. Very nice. Even better, according to the company, this £29.99 priced product can also be used with PC, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Playstation 3.

Btw, I can’t find the info on the product’s page, but ShinyShiny.TV mentioned that the pack is bundled with several Wii accessories as well. Including Wii silicone covers and a battery charger.

Pros: very precise and small wheel, stays fixed almost perfectly on the table

Cons: absurdly fragile wheel, only suitable for small children (read below)

This wheel is a joke, seriously. After 2 days of purchase, the gear change
lever broke, and after 5 days, the wheel started to make strange noises and
something inside it broke or is out of place. Windows (or games) doesn’t
register its left and right movements any more, so its pretty useless now !
You might think that i am stupid and have forced the wheel absurdly or even
made something crazy like hammering it or throwing it on the floor or jumping
on it but thats not the case. The problem is that the wheel is absurdly
fragile and doesn’t stand normal abrupt turns in games. It seems like it was
tested at thrustmaster by small children or a very delicate lady. I have a lot
of experience with PC racing wheels and racing games. I have a MS FF wheel for
about at least 6 years now and although its not very precise and doesn’t fix
well on the table, is resistant and its still working. Thanks God i bought
that MS wheel at that time ! I also have a logitech momo racing wheel which
although is precise and robust, is assembled with factory glue. Well, after 3
years of use, the glue dried so the logitech wheel is useless now !
