Following the release of general-purpose’s Satellite P105 series laptops (P105-S6207 and P105-S6217 models), Toshiba yesterday announced two new configurations on the series, specifically dedicated for gaming and entertainment. The Satellite P105-S9337 and P105-S9339 notebooks, respectively pre-loaded with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate Edition operating system, are powered by a Mobile Intel 945PM Express chipset, an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz) processors, a generous 2GB of DDR2 main memory, and a 200GB SATA hard drive. They have a large 17-inch (1440×900) LCD display supported by a 256MB nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics engine, as well as a dual-layer DVD burner and various connectivity options, such as WiFI, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, and build-in 56K modem.

Furthermore, the new Satellite P105 series laptops are also equipped with a PC Card and ExpressCard slots, Firewire and four USB ports, a 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, DVI-D and TV out, a 9-cell Li-Ion battery, and built-in Harman/Kardon stereo speakers with S/PDIF connector for impressive 5.1 surround sound experiences. Weighs as low as 7.1lbs, Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 and Satellite P105-S9339 will be retailed for $1,999 and $2,099 respectively.
