MSI L740 (P/N: MS-1053) is a stylish laptop aimed at serious gamers. Unfortunately, no detail on the amount of memory and the graphics card used, so we can’t decide whether MSI already knows how to develop a gaming laptop or not. Confirmed features on the 17-inch laptop include an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile technology with Intel 945GM chipset, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, either 1440×900 WXGA or 1680×1050 WXGA+ screen resolution with DualView support, DVD SuperMulti drive, built-in 4-in-1 card reader, 802.11 a/b/g Wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity. An integrated 56K modem and DVB-T (Terrestrial Digital Video Broadcast) receiver – lets you watch video satellite programme – also available optionally.

If the L740 laptop carries at least 2GB of RAM and has a decent graphics engine, I think this would be a wonderful gaming notebook, just as the company claimed as an “Incredible Gaming and Video Enjoyment” machine.
