The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff Cheats

NOTES:

Some new Cheat Codes were added to “Family Fun Stuff” expansion.
Some of them do not exist in the previous Expansion Packs.

Most of the Cheat Codes listed here will function on the Original game
& all of the Expansions Packs. However, these codes were found
specifically in the “Family Fun Stuff” executable file. Certain
options for certain codes may Require some (or all) of the Expansions t
be installed. And a few may only be usable on this expansion itself.

Ctrl-Shift-S Display Game Stats (such as the FPS rate)

Cheat Codes (case insensitive):

gameVersion *Outputs the version of the Game.

*** The above Codes were (probably) added by the “Family Fun Stuff” expansion.

addNeighborToFamilyCheat [on|off] Toggle on or off.
If enabled, a new menu choice is available when
you click on a person who is not part of your
household. The new item, “Add Sim to Family”
will force that person to become a member of
your family. If you do not see that choice,
then click “More…” because there may be too
many items to fit on the menu.

AgeSimsCheat [on|off] AgeSimsCheat

aging [on|off] - Turns aging on or off

aspirationLevel [0-5] Sets the aspiration level of the selected
sim.

aspirationPoints [num] give the selected sim some extra
aspiration reward points.

autoPatch [-on|-off] enable or disable checking for
available patches via content browser

bloom [R G B X] Changes color of screen visual. RGB
is color [0,1], and X is the bloom amount
[0,1].
1st use: ‘boolProp enablePostProcessing true’

changeLotZoning [residential | community | greek | dorm |
secretsociety]
changes the zoning type of the lot.

clear Clear the console window

deleteAllCharacters This cheat will delete all characters in the
current neighborhood; it also only works when
in the neighborhood.

exit Close/Hide the cheat console window (Escape
works also)

hide Close/Hide the cheat console window (Escape
works also)

expand Expands or contracts the output portion of the
cheat console. The Tilde key, ~ , has the same
effect.

x Expands or contracts the output portion of the
cheat console. The Tilde key, ~ , has the same
effect.

faceBlendLimits [-on|-off] turns on / off facial blending limits

familyFunds Use ‘familyFunds [familyName][value]‘ to set
the amount of funds.
Use ‘familyFunds [familyName] [+/-][value]‘ to
add/subtract from current funds.

filmGrain [X] X is the film grain value [0,1].
1st use: ‘boolProp enablePostProcessing true’

forcetwins Force the selected pregnant sim to have twins
(DEBUG - Force Twins)

help [wildcard] [-all] Logs this help output.

h [wildcard] [-all] Logs this help output.

? [wildcard] [-all] Logs this help output.

kaChing Increase family funds by $1,000

letterBox [X] letterbox the screen (add black borders on
top and bottom). X is the letterbox value
[0,0.4].
1st use: ‘boolProp enablePostProcessing true’

lockAspiration [on/off]: Locks/Unlocks the aspiration score of
sims on the lot.

maxMotives Sets all the motives to maximum for all sims on
the lot

motherLode Increase family funds by $50,000

motiveDecay [on/off]: Turns motive decay on/off for all
sims on the lot

moveObjects [on|off] Allows user to move objects that are
normally unmoveable.

PlumbBobToggle Toggle the showing of plumbBob
(what’s a plumb Bob? )

roofSlopeAngle [15 - 75] Slope Angle in Degrees (45 is default)

setHighestAllowedLevel [level] Sets the highest allowed level

setHour [0-23] sets the hour of the day
The ultimate time travel tool!

setLotLightingFile [filename.txt] or [clear] override some of the
parameters present in the lighting.txt file
with filename.txt file present in lights
folder, clear clears if any file is present

showHeadlines [on|off] - Shows/Hides all thought bubbles,
speech ballons etc

slowMotion [0-8] slows the animation timer (0=normal speed)

stretchSkeleton [factor] stretches skeleton of the selected Sim
- factor=1.0 indicates no stretch, factor<1.0
makes shorter, factor>1.0 makes taller.

terrainType Changes terrain type (Temperate/Desert/Dirt/
Concrete).
Assume Syntax is: terrainType TYPE
Example: terrainType Concrete

unlockCareerRewards Unlocks all career reward objects for the
selected sim.

vignette [centerX centerY X] Blur rendering from
specified center (upper left is 0,0, lower
right is 1,1). X is the amoung of blurring
[0,1].
1st use: ‘boolProp enablePostProcessing true’

vsync [on|off] Enables/disables vertical sync - can
improve performance, but will sometimes cause
visual artifacts if off

debug

[purge if else elseif endif set]
There are many alias/scripting related
commands, but we do not believe they will help
you cheat.

INSTALLATION:
1. Start the game.

2. Open the game Cheat Console:
Hit Ctrl-Shift-C (hold Ctrl & Shift, then press C).

A CONSOLE window should open with a cursor.

3. Enter your codes.

NOTES:

You may type PART of a command (such as the first few letters) and then hit the TAB key to fill in the best matching command (ala 4DOS/4NT woot woot). Also, the Up/Down arrow keys cycle through previous commands.

The various Codes can be ineffective in certain areas of the game. For instance, some Codes are only effective on the Neighborhood Screen, while others require a Family to be loaded & a person to be selected.

4. Type “exit” / “hide” or hit the ESCAPE key to leave the console.

The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff Decensor Patch

This patch will give you full nudity within The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff.
Because we’re all a bunch of pervs, desperate for virtual happy hour.

Say goodbye to the blurry box mosaic that appears when your Sims are engaged in private or intimate activities.

Our patch SHOULD work on any combinations of the following:

* Cracked, CloneCD, Retail

* All Languages

* All Media (CD or DVD)

* All Versions (past, present, and Future)

It is a seek/destroy patch which will location the correct area to be patched in any Sims 2 game EXE.

Written in Turbo C 3.0 for DOS with a sprinkle of inline ASM.

INSTALL
1. Always make a backup copy of your game file(s) first:
TSBin\Sims2SP1.exe

2. UnRAR the archive to your game directory, overwriting any existing files. Always unRAR with full paths!

* Be sure you unRAR to the root of the “The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff” game directory, NOT the TSBin sub-dir please and NOT to the Original Sims 2 directory either.

3. Run our patcher: TNTS2_P3.EXE

4. Make a mental note: remember to re-run the patcher if you install any new update patches for the “The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff” Expansion.

The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff trainer +1

Unzip/Unrar trainer into any directory, then start the trainer
with “pdtrain.exe”, and finally start the game. During gameplay
toggle trainer options by pressing the following key combinations:

M Infinite Money
