After the iPod Vending Machine in US, now there’s a Mobile Phone Vending Machine in UK. Recently, Vodafone UK has deployed two of them in Manchester. Named “Quickphone”, the company told the Telegraph that they hopes the kiosk will become familiar sights across the UK,. Furthermore, the company explained that the Quickphone can be installed “anywhere, as long as there is an electricity supply”.

The vending machines offer three different phones in return for cash or chip and PIN payments. It could be useful for those who need a cell phone in a hurry or emergency. No need to go to the store and spend time arguing talking with the salesman.

Let’s just hope that the vending machines will be safe from robbery.
