It’s nice to see more and more improvement to media player product lately. After the MP3 player with IrDa, soon we can get our hand on a wireless-connectivity media player device, the Tao Wireless Media Player (the name says it all). It provides simple transfer of content over wireless hotspots from the Internet, PC, or between units. You can also schedule your downloads so when you wake up in the morning, your player is already full of fresh content.
Tao Wireless Media Player comes with a 20GB HDD, dual headphone jacks, MP3/WMA/Windows Media DRM 10 support, and built-in FM radio tuner. Other features include 802.11b Wireless access to Internet content, built-in hotspot finder, Windows CE processor, favorite playlist editing, 7 band equalizer, amber backlight display, and lithium ion rechargable battery.
This player will be available in the first quarter of 2006. No words about the price though.
