Sony NV-U71T GPS Navigation Now Available (Pre-Order)

Sony has started taking order for its upcoming portable satellite navigation system, NV-U71T, through Amazon. If interested, you can pre-order the GPS device for $499 and except it to come to your door by March, 2007. NV-U71T itself boasts a RDS/TMC receiver for real-time traffic information, an up to 4.5 hours of battery life, over 7 millions POIs pre-loaded, and a ‘Gesture Command’ support which lets users to quickly access specific command simply by swiping their finger on a specific direction. For example, an upside down “V” would be the “go home” command.
