Sony Launches Portable TV Network for PSP

Sony PSPAn interesting move has been made by Sony Japan. They’ve just launched a Portable TV Network, but it seems that they’re definition of that terms is kinda different. While other defined a portable TV network as watching TV via broadcasting network in real-time, Sony asked you to first download the shows you want to watch – as well as music videos, movie trailers, and other video content – onto your memory stick and then view it later on PSP. Now isn’t that just a download service?

Other dissapointment is that you have a limited playback time for each downloaded program. You pay $1 to $3 each and you can only watch it for one or two week. But Sony probably know that many people will a little bit sad with their offering so they include many popular shows and anime to download. If you enlarge the image above, you’ll probably agree that Sony is smart enough…
