Sharp has just released their clamshell cell phone, the WX-T91 model, in Taiwan. The key features of this 3G phone is that its camera function can be used like a normal digital camera simply by activating the 3.2 megapixel camera lens and folding the clamshell back. Unfortunately, there’s no external display, so using it like a digital camera would be rather useless since you have to open the clamshell again to watch the snapped shot result.
The WX-T91 cell phone comes with 8MB internal memory. Not much, but you can always insert a mini SD card (up to 1GB) to add additional memory. There’s a built-in TV-out feature, which I think is more and more common these days. It would let you display the image or video from your handset on a larger TV screen, like this. You can even play your cell phone’s games by using the TV as the screen.
For connectivity, Sharp WX-T91 is equipped with Infrared and USB support. You can charged using the USB port as well. Other features include a bar code scanning function, stereo speaker, and MP3 / AAC / AAC+ player.
