Samsung YP-Z5 MP3 Player Goes Gold

Samsung’s YP-Z5 MP3 player finally gets its turn to be strucked by Midas touch. Following a number of gadgets that went gold during holiday season, Samsung, in co-op with Paul Mercer, iPod’s interface designer, now release the 18K gold edition of this digital audio player. Only 10 luxurious devices will be offered through an auction. Along with the exclusive gold-cased player with Mercer’s signature on the rear, ten lucky winners will also get a gold package box.
Auction will be started at $1. However, Samsung expects that the price of the gold YP-Z5 MP3 player will go for 120,000 Yen each.
