Samsung SGH-E500 – Fashionable Cell Phone for Women

Two days ago, Samsung unveiled the newest fashion phone targeted at female users, the SGH-E500 model, at SVIAZ Expo Comm 2006. Available in two flavours – brown and white -, this cell phone sports some unique chick features, such as the Mobile Beauty Box for taking pictures and applying different hair styles to their pictures; and a image editing software that lets users to fuse two different facial images and see the result of the combination. The clamshell phone itself offers a luxury and grace, thanks to the soft round curves and smooth edges that is influenced by Botticelli’s masterpiece “The Birth of Venus”.
“Samsung recognizes the impact that style and fashion has on our culture today,” said Kitae Lee, president of Samsung’s Telecommunication Network Business. “As part of our strategy to meet specific market needs, we have added this new women phone to reach a highly targeted segment of female market.”
Samsung SGH-E500 cell phone will be released in the second quarter of 2006 to the Russian market. Europe will be the next stop after that.
