Samsung Electronics recently presented a new 2GB MultiMediaCard (MMC) Micro card that combines four 4GBit NAND Flash devices. Not just it’s 3.5t times faster than any other MMCMicro cards nowadays, it is also the one with the highest capacity. A 2GB of space is enough for keeping over 12 hours of mobile video or hundreds (maybe even thousands, depend on the quality of course) of audio files. With the included adapter, youo can use it with any MMC card slot, so no problem about the compatibility.
According to Don Barnetson, Director, Flash Marketing, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., “The 2GByte high-performance MMC is a powerful indicator of Samsung’s expanding efforts to embrace the widest possible range of multimedia applications including mobile video.”
