Pantech IM-U110 – The Ultimate Jukebox Cell Phone

Pantech Group has recently launched their new cell phone, the IM-U110. Dubbed as the “Ultimate Mobile Jukebox”, this phone boasts its multimedia and entertainment capability. Let’s see. For a US$650, you’ll get an advanced MP3 player function with widerange of audio format supported, a 2 megapixel camera module with auto focus and PictBridge support, a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen, internal high quality speaker and visual sound, as well as flash memory card slot for up to 1GB of additional storage capacity. With that huge space, you can store over 200 MP3 songs, or 1,024 high resolution pictures, or 1,800 (Java?) games.
The bad thing? Well, it only support CDMA network at the moment, and that price is quite high for a CDMA cell phone. However, I have to admit, that, like other phones from Pantech, the IM-U110 sounds like a real deal. Have I mention that this handset is also equipped with a touch sensor pad on the top of the upper folder? With this pad, you can control the songs at the touch of a finger tip – much like having a portable MP3 player.
Pantech’s IM-U110 cell phone will be available later this month in Korea, marketed under Pantech’s SKY brand.
