Nokia N93 Cell PhoneAnother N-Series phone that Nokia unveiled two days ago is the N93 model. As the successor of the N92 cell phone, the new N93 also offers all the good things found in its big brother, and some more. It sports a 3.2 megapixel camera module with Carl Zeiss optics, DVD-qualiity video capture (MPEG-4 format @ 30fps), 3x optical zoom, and up to 20x digtial zoom, as well as auto-focus and close-up mode features. The camera has a landscape orientation with its 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) 262K colors LCD screen as the full screen viewfinder. Furthermore, the Nokia N93 has an active camera toolbar which displays all available capture features, from exposure value to color tones and white balance. To help you with the shot, there are several dedicated camera keys for shutter, zoom and flash and also a camera mode key that enables you to switch quickly and easily between image and video capture.

Of course the camera is not the only one that the N93 proud of. As you might remember, the N92 supports TV broadcasting. And so does this N93 cell phone. With the 3G (WCDMA 2100 MHz) support, it lets you watch TV over 3G networks. Since the display has a a super-wide 160 degrees viewing angle, you can really enjoy your favourite TV programme anywhere, as long as you bring this cell phone. You can even connect the phone directly to your TV for a greater viewing experience. Other than WCDMA, N93 also designed to work on WLAN, EDGE, and triband GSM networks (900/1800/1900 Mhz).

Other features include a large 50MB of internal memory, miniSD card slot for additional storage with up to 2GB of capacity supported, UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) support, S60 3rd Edition OS, stereo FM radio tuner, and digital music player. And since this phone will be compatible with all the N-Gage games, Nokia bundle the cell phone with the pre-installed N-Gage’s System Rush: Evolution games.

Thanks to its connectivity, it allows you to immediately share the memories you’ve captured, taking the entire camcorder experience to the Internet age.

The Nokia N93 cell phone will be available in July 2006 with an estimated price of around 550 Euros.
