The launching date of the highly anticipated N-series cell phone from Nokia, the N91, is getting closer. This entertainment / music phone is planned to release on the first quarter of 2006, which could be this month or next May. The N91 features a triband (900/1800/1900) GSM UTMS network, 176×208 262K colors LCD screen, 2.0 megapixel camera module with video recording capability, FM radio tuner, MP3 player with dedicated music buttons, and PIM function. For the connectivity, it supports EDGE, WiFI, Bluetooth, Infrared, and USB. This cell phone doesn’t come with a memory card slot, however, with 30MB of internal memory AND 4GB of internal hard drive, I think it’s already more than enough to store all of your favourite songs on the phone. Measures 113.1 x 55.2 x 22 mm and weighs 160 grams, this S60-series phone offers 4 hours of talktime and more than a week of standby time.

If I have to choose, I’d rather wait for the N92 with 16M colors LCD screen, WiFI, and TV. But if you really want to buy the N91, you’d better check the Flash video demo first. It’ll show you the detail of the N91’s interface.
