According to Reuters, Nokia has started shipping the E61 (business) cell phone last week. Known as the Blackberry and Motorola Q killer, this phone features a QWERTY keyboard, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and support for leading email clients. Pekka Isosomppi, spokesman for Nokia’s Enterprise division, mentioned that the E61 cell phone will become available across the globe very soon. Futhermore, the company will release the next E-Series phone, the E70, in the end of May. Like other cell phones under the E-Series range, E70 will have all the features that the business users need, as well as a 2 megapixel camera module.

The first E-Series phone hit the market is the E60 model. With these three business phones, Nokia wish to recoup their first quarter loss widened to 66 million euros ($84 million) and it is aiming to turn to profit in 2007. Let’s see whether they can make it or not.
