Nokia N-Gage LogoAs reported by Yahoo! News, Nokia will make their new N-Series phone to be able to play N-Gage games. It is due to the fact that Nokia’s N-Gage doesn’t sale as well as expected. According to Anssi Vanjoki, head of Nokia’s Multimedia division which produces N-Gage, Nokia only able to sell about 2 millions of this gaming phone in its first three years appearance. That’s only about one-third of the projected sales, 6 millions unit in three years.

The N-series mobiles are all smartphones, running on the Series 60 software developed by Symbian and Nokia, as does N-Gage. Currently, Nokia has six of these N-Series phones. Two of them have hit the market, the N70 and N90. The next will be the N91, expected on the market in the first quarter of 2006. The last three phones in the line has been recently announced at Nokia Mobility Conference 2005 in Barcelona: the N71, N80, and N92.
