Couple days ago, Mustek announced their new portable media player product – the PVR-H160 Portable Media Player and Recorder – featuring a 60GB hard-drive. Comes with 3.6 inch TFT color screen with adjustable brightness and integrated speaker, this device supports MPEG-2, WMV, ASF (MPEG-4), DivX, Xvid and M-JPEG.
PVR-H160 has a software converter allowing television programs and movies to be recorded directly from a TV, VCR, DVD or cable/satellite signal in MPEG4 – no PC required. An AV output connects the Mustek PVR-H160 to home entertainment systems for large screen playback. Other features include USB 2.0 interface, WMA and MP3 music playback and photo viewer.
This portable media player will be available on market in October for around US$499. The package bundles with a user guide, an installation and application CD, AV Cable, USB Cable, earphone, power adapter, strap, stand and protective tote bag.
