Mitsubishi RFID Bluetooth AttachmentMitsubishi is currently making a RFID Bluetooth Attachment which will allow smartphone to read and transmit RFID tagging. The data can then be transfered wirelessly to the server. Company can then have a centralize server, with worker working at any where of the world. Right now, the RFID Bluetooth Attachment only available on prototype model. They plan to start the production in Q1 2006. The display prototype is using Motorola M1000 smartphone.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a method of remotely storing and retrieving data using devices called RFID tags. An RFID tag is a small object, such as an adhesive sticker, that can be attached to or incorporated into a product.
