LG PM80 – World’s First PDA With DMB

LG PM80 PDA  With DMBPM80 model from South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. is the world’s first Personal Data Assistant (PDA) that is integerated with DMB feature. Launched on Sunday, the PDA is able to receive and display TV broadcasts anywhere you go on its 3.5-inch QVGA LCD monitor.

Runs under Microsoft Pocket PC 2003, the PDA has a SD card slot where you can save your recorded DMB video clips. With the integrated 5-way navigation key, users can switch between channels easily. Furthermore, the battery lets you watch the TV for about 2.5 hours before recharged.

The price for the PM80 PDA is 399,000 KRW (US$ 385). The other version, the one in black, is equipped with an additional GPS capability and sells for 599,000 KRW (US$ 575).
