Hop-on Inc. recently announce their new cell phone, the HOP1884 model, that hopefully will be able to survive the mobile handsets market since it is only equipped with some boring traditional phone features. Let’s see. This tri-band GSM candy bar phone offers a 128×64 LCD display with color backlight, a predictive text input, vibration call alert, SMS messaging option, 250 entry phone book, and multiple language support (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German). Measures 102 x 44 x 10 mm and weighs 59 grams, the ultra-thin phone provides a 6 hours of talk time and about 250 hours of standby time. Honestly, I’m not impressed at all, but I must admit that its keys design is cool.
