Helio Cell Phone Releases in Korea

Helio Cell Phone From SK Telecom and EarthlinkSK Telecom, in co-operation with Eartlink, has released the Helio in Korea, along with their two multimedia phones called Hero and Kickflip. You can choose between two plans, the All-In Membership and the A La Carte plan. The first plan offers an unlimited data, video, MMS, texting, nights and weekends, roaming, and long distance call. With this plan, you can get 1000 minutes of talktime for $85, 1500 minutes for $100, or 2500 minutes for $135. In comparison, $40 in A La Carte plan gives you 500 minutes of talktime. The Hero cell phone is retailed for $275 while the Kickflip phone priced $250.

Both cell phones will support MySpace integration and Yahoo! portal. They also comes with Helio On Top (H.O.T) access – a simple 10-channel news and info aggregation, MMS picture, and video messages. This feature can be sent up to 1MB per free streaming video from major networks like MTV, Comedy Central, ABC, etc.
