Handsfree TrashCan

Sponsored Links

Handsfree Trash Can Heck, this is cool. Well, a little bit expensive, but it’s still cool anyway.. A trashcan that open its lid automatically whenever we want to throw something inside. If you still remember, it works like the Toilet MP3 – automatically open the cover when we get close to the toilet.

This handsfree trashcan saves your energy from opening the lid manually or stepping on the foot pedal. It uses infrared sensor to detect your hand movement. When your hand is about 6-inches from the lid, it will assume that you want to throw some trash, so it will automatically open up. Three seconds after you removed your hand away, the lid will close.

And to save you from being nuts when the infrared module goes bad, there are also control buttons to open / close the lid automatically. You can also turn off the automatic process from the power switch at the back of the trashcan.
