Giga Telecom’s Tube – Portable T-DMB Car Navigation With BWS & TPEG Service

Giga Telecom is said to going to release their new portable T-DMB (two-way Digital Media Broadasting) car navigation in December. Named Tube, the device incorporated a GPS and employs BWS (Broadcast Website Service) and TPEG (Transport Protocol Expert Group) services. The BWS lets you surf the web while watching DMB, and the TPEG provides the most recent information about traffic at the time as well as various lodging facilities and parking information of the destination.
Tube T-DMB device can be operated by pressing the edges of the device. The left corner is used to enlarge or reduce a map, and the right one for controlling the volume. When you watch DMB, the left corner is for changing channels while the right is for volume.
According to the company, the development of this device will be finished by the end of this year. Two model will be available, one for CDMA network and the other for the WiFi network.
