Another new MP3 player device for today. This one is coming from Cowon and dubbed as the iAudio 6. By employing a 0.85-inch mini HDD – which is the first one in the world -, Cowon is able to obtain a small size for this 4GB MP3 Player. Well, not smaller than any flash-based digital audio player though.
On the front side, the iAudio 6 offers a 1.3-inch (160×128) 260K colors OLED display, as well as touchpad-type buttons. This MP3 player supports various file formats, including WMA, OGG, ASF, WAV, FLAC, and obviously, MP3. For the video playback, it can play XviD and MPEG formats.
Other features include 20 hours of continous playback (for the audio I assume) per 3 hours charge, USB Host (OTG) function with 30Mbps ~ 40Mbps transfer rate, digital watch, alarm, FM radio tuner, video recording, time recording, direct encoding, and text/file viewers. Measures 76.1 x 35.6 x 19 mm and weighs 60 grams (battery included), the suggested price for this Cowon iAudio 6 HDD-based MP3 Player is 289,000(KRW).
