Now you can control Skype on your PC from your Bluetooth wireless headset using this wonderful software, SkypeHeadset. Using SkypeHeadset, you can directly dial, pick-up, hang-up or mute calls with the headset buttons. Nice, isn’t it?

SkypeHeadset lets your PC to become like a mobile phone or a cordless phone, because you’re no longer needed to sit in front of your PC to use Skype. And since you’ll use Bluetooth-enabled headset, you can be up to 20 metres away from the computer and still be able to manage your calls from the headset. That’s the advantage of using Bluetooth headset and SkypeHeadset software.

Several Skype-related devices that I previously posted still need you to be near the computer. Such as the USB Phone, imFONE USB device, or VoIP Smart Phone Box.

Note that SkypeHeadset will only works with Widcomm Bluetooth drivers. According to their website, it does not support generic Microsoft Windows XP drivers (no audio support) or those supplied by other vendors such as IVT or Toshiba at this time.
