Powered by SiRF Star III GPS chipset, a 400Mhz processor, and Windows CE 5.0 operating system, the new Asus R710 Personal Navigation Device boasts a revolutionary technology that can keep the driver safe by projecting a navigation instructions (including directions, speed, distance, etc) on the windshield in front of the driver through the device’s HUD (Heads Up Display). This ensure the drivers to focus on the road, thus giving less distraction to their concentration.

Other features include a 5-inch (480×272, WQVGA) touchscreen TFT display, 64/128MB RAM, 2GB Flash ROM, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB supported), Bluetooth connectivity, Light sensor, TMC module, media player, and USB interface. Measures 133 x 86.2 x 16.8mm and weighs 240 grams, Asus R710 GPS Navigation also comes with a 1530mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery and optional Path Finder capability.
