Capsule FM RadioNowadays, almost all portable devices comes with FM radio tuner. MP3 player, (multimedia) cell phone, PDA, etc. So why bother buying a portable radio? Well, the only (logical) reason is the design. A nice example is the Radio Toaster I’ve mentioned couple months ago, which is a combination between a radio and toaster, in a shape of a toaster. Another example is this Capsule FM Radio by David Turpin that takes the form o f polycarbonate capsule.

Measures 5″ (length) x 2.5″ (diameter), you have to slide the two halves to reveal the radio that consists of the tuner, volume control and a soft wire antenna. There’s a built-in speaker on each half, so you got a dual speaker there.

Capsule FM Radio is available at MomaStore (link below) for $25.
