BenQ recently presented the M315, their new cell phone product that feature a TMR (Transmissive Micro Reflective) LCD screen. What exactly is TMR anyway? Well, we’re not sure either, but according to this, it’s a new technology developed by Samsung that will enhance the display based on the environment. It is currently being used by several Samsung’s digital cameras, such as Digimax L50 and L55W. By applying the TMR technology, BenQ is able to display 65K colors in a true and a clear way on their M315 phone’s LCD screen.
BenQ M315 cell phone specifications:
- Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900) and GPRS class 10
- 1.5-inch (128×128) 65,536 CSTN LCD screen with TMR (as mentioned above)
- 110k pixel camera
- Bluetooth headset and hotkey support
- X-large function key
- Anti-slip strip
- Protruding keypad design
