Asus J206 Cell Phone

On its way to grab a little share on cell phone market pie, Asus, a popular motherboard manufacturer, has came up with a phone that looks like an iPod. The J206 cell phone has a slider mechanism and there’s a touch pad on the panel for quickly navigate and control the multimedia functions. To make it more comfortable for you, you don’t have to “press” the touch pad (and that’s why it’s called “touch” pad). Asus has built a sensor under the pad that detect heat from the hand. Once detected, the pad will do the appropriate action automatically. The company claimed that it have developed the technology used by the pad for a year on its research lab.

Now back on the phone. With an iPod looks, the phone definitely boasts its music capability. Well, it can play a wide-range of audio format, such as MP3, AAC, and WAV, for up to 12 hours of continous playback. To store the files, the cell phone offers a 60MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for additional storage. And lastly, to manage those files and sync with the PC, a music manager will be included by Asus.

No words on the specs and price yet.

Yeah, this phone (ASUS J206) really rocks your touching skills! But it also rocks your patience when it suddenly restarts in the middle of your phoning session. Instance? Having a call or just beginning to have one. That’s the heart of techno!
(hope the Asus engineers will do something about it)

I really love this phone!!! you can store a lot of songs and my 1 gig micro SD card can really accommodate all my favorite songs… camera is not that bad and you can also edit your photos with its fun frames, texts and images =) its so easy to use its really light weight and small. the only problem that i have with this phone is that when you store big files such as pictures and you would view it… it would just hang =( that’s why its recommended to resize the file first before storing it in your phone but over all i’ll give it a 9/10 good job asus!
