Apple has integrated the latest iPod generation onto its U2 iPod product. The new black-colored iPod U2 Special Edition will come with a 30GB of storage capacity (holds up to 7,500 songs, 25,000 photos or over 75 hours of video), a red Apple Click Wheel, and the U2 signatures engraved on the back side. Consumers will also receive an iTunes Music Store coupon which they can redeem for an exclusive 30 minutes music video and band interviews.

Other than the seamless integration with iTunes Music Store and iTunes Digital Music Jukebox, the U2 iPod also features Apple’s Auto-Sync technology. This patent pending technology offers an automatic download of digital music, podcasts, photos, audiobooks, home movies, music videos and popular television shows directly onto the iPod. It offers a USB 2.0 connectivity and 14 hours of music playback.

The U2 iPod Special Edition is retailed for $329, about $30 higher than the standard 30GB iPod.
