Acer d150 Portable Navigator GPS Review

Acer d150 Portable Navigator GPSOkay, it seems that TrustedReviews already has a review of the new Acer d150 Portable Navigator. I’ve just mentioned this GPS device yesterday, but incase you forget, here’s a bit about it. It’s the successor of the d100 model, it costs £299, it features a clear directional information and comprehensive POI (Point of Interests) database, and lastly, it sucks. Really. Even the review says so. Just read it if you don’t believe me.

Excerpt from the review:

To get you from one location to another the d150 did its job well however, and didn’t let me down during my time with it. However, it lacks the finesse and features of the equivalent TomTom. This wouldn’t be so bad if it was a cheaper option but it’s not. It’s actually more expensive than the TomTom One, which you can pick up at Dixons online now for £240. Oh dear. On this basis I can see no reason to spend more to buy the Acer d150.
