Sony’s new HDR-HC1 HDV 1080i Handycam Camcorder starter kit is going for $2,199.93. It uses a new HDV format, which is created to bring high definition recording to the mainstream, but with a relatively low price. Basically, it will rely on the third-party video editing software to fix and enhance the video quality.
