Sony D-VE7000S Walkman – Portable DVD Player With Various Codecs Support

Sony is going to release the D-VE7000S Walkman very soon. This portable DVD player will support many popular video codecs, but there’s no detail about the supported codecs yet. My guess will be MPEG-4, DivX, WMV, AVI, and such.
Sports a large 7-inch widescreen display, this DVD player can read DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD+/-R DL, CD, VCD, CD-R, and CD-RW, but no Blu-ray and HD-DVD yet. Other features packed on the D-VE7000S Walkman DVD player include Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS sound system. No words about the price and availability though.
