Here’s a 52-inch HD-ready LCD TV from Sony that is slated to release in September, “Bravia KDL-52XBR”. It is capable of displaying 1080 Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with over 2 million pixels on the screen. Thanks to the company’s BRAVIA Engine PRO, everything from standard definition and high definition wil be upconverted to 1080p for a realistic viewing experience. This new engine also incorporates Digital Reality Creation Multi-function (DRC-MF) v2.5 circuit which is able to process interlace and progressive video signals.

Regarding specs, KDL-52XBR LCD HDTV features a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, an aspect ratio of 16:9, 3D Digital Comb Filter, a viewing angle of 178 degree, and a 10-bit display panel. Measures 1415 x 827 x 123mm and weighs 42kg, it is also equipped with HDMI ports, RS-232 control, Composite/S-Video/Component, etc. The price is set at a nice $5,099.99 with a 3-years warranty.
