And here’s another wooden speaker. From Elecom Japan, the ASP-WP8 is an iPod dock made from high quality wood with three wooden finishing choices. It is compatible with the 2nd generation of iPod and can be connected to other audio sources as well, thanks to the provided stereo mini slot. To control the music, you can use either the remote control or the playback button provided next to the dock connector. The speaker itself will deliver an output of 5.5Wx2ch.
Measures 220 x 100 x 60 mm and weighs 630 grams, the elegant Elecom ASP-WP8 Wooden iPod Dock will hit the store in October with a price tag of 16,095 Yen or around $135.
