As announced recently by the Korean company Samsung, their upcoming digital cameras will feature mobile TV and movie playback functionality. According to their company representative, their new DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting) cameras will compete against phones as they will have a screen as large as 3 inches diagonally, much larger than that 2.2 inches screen comes with today’s DMB phones.

It does sound like a good combination, doesn’t it? Since Samsung would be the first one who produced these kind of digicam-PMP (portable multimedia player) hybrids, we still can’t predict whether it’d be a success or not. But again, it’s an interesting marriage.
