“i85″ is Samsung’s latest creation, a digital camera with a nice PMP (Portable Media Player) capabilities. It lets you play some music (WAV and MP3) or watch movies (MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV, and ASF) whenever you’re not in the mood for photography. The playback quality isn’t bad either, thanks to the built-in SRS 3D speakers, a large 3-inch LCD display, and a 2.5mm headphone jack.

Being a digital camera, i85 sports an 8 megapixel CCD sensor, a 5x optical NV zoom lens, up to ISO 1600 sensitivity, a maximum shutter speed of 1/2,000 sec, and Samsung’s ASR image stabilization that keeps the pictures clear and focus. There’s a 256MB onboard memory for storing photos and other media files, along with a SDHC media card slot for external storage options.

Samsung i85 PMP camera will hit the store in Fall this year with a price tag of $349.
