Pentax *ist DL Becomes The Most Affordable Digital SLR Camera

Pentax has recently announced a significant price adjustment on their *ist DL Digital SLR (D-SLR) camera. This 18-55 DA lens kit camera’s price is now reduce, from $799.95 down to $599.95. That’s really cheap for a digital SLR camera. And according to Ned Bunnel, Pentax’s marketing director, the company is the first camera manufacturer to offer a high-end D-SLR camera type at an affordable price.
Pentax *ist DL camera itself sports a 6 megapixel CCD sensor, a large 2.5-inch color LCD monitor, SD memory card slot, high-speed shutter unit, and compatibility with most interchangeable Pentax lenses. It measures 125 x 93 x 67 mm and weighs 470 grams.
