Two new digital video camcorders from Panasonic to start the new year — VDR-D310 and NV-GS320. Both DV cameras features a Leica lens with 10x optical zoom, 3CCD camera system, 3 megapixel CCD sensor, a 2.7-inch wide LCD display, USB 2.0 port, and support for SDHC media. They also have auto image stabilization function which automatically activate when any hand movement detected.

As for the differences, the VDR-D310 DV camcorder can record on DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD-RAM media, while the NV-GS320 model on Mini-DV tapes. The latter also gives you the ability to take 1.2 megapixel still shot along with video. Respectively, price is set at 95,000 Yen ($800) and 75,000 Yen ($635). Both cameras will hit the market in January 25 and the retail package will be bundled with an AC adapter, remote control and multiple AV cables.
