Panasonic SDR-S150 CamcorderPanasonic launched two new camcorders recently, the SDR-150 an SDR-200 model. Both digital cameras sport a trio of CCD sensors that capable of creating movie record in high-quality MPEG-4 format directly onto an SD card. If I’m not mistaken, from the translation, in 3CCD concept, color is separated into three elements (Red, Green, and Blue) and then each CCD is responsible on one of the element. By separating the process, 3CCD is able to deliver realistic and more natural images.

Now let’s talk about the camcorder. First, the SDR-S150 model. This camera offers an SD memory card slot with up to 4GB of capacity supported, 10x optical zoom, 3.1 megapixel sensor, 1.5 seconds startup time, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) for avoiding blurry images, and Leica Dicomar lens. It measures 3.81 x 1.1 x 3.15 inch and weighs 3.88 lbs.

The second one is the SDR-S200. Measures 49.9 x 81.3 x 99.7 mm and weighs 287 grams, this camcorder features a D-Snap Video, 3.1 megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, 2.5x digital zoom, SD card support (up to 4GB of capacity), 704×480 movie recording (very close to DVD quality which is 720×480), and Leica Dicomar lens.
