A new member of Canon’s ZR line of mid-range camcorders, the ZR600, has born. Sports a bright 2.7-inch widescreen LCD display and 1.6-inch CCD with 680k pixels, this camcorder comes with an SD / MMC slot, 25x optical zoom lens, and 800x digital zoom capability. The camera’s control’s can be easily accessed via the joystick. For the video / movie recording, a Motion JPEG mode is provided. You can record the clips directly to the memory card.
Canon ZR600 camcorder uses Mini DV tape. It has a maximum recording time of 80 minutes in SP mode and 120 minutes in LP mode (80 min. cassette). Measures 49 x 92 x 115 mm and weighs 380 grams, ZR600 is retailed for $349 and available in Silver Frost color.
