I did a google search of this problem about 6 months ago and was able to remove the WGA nag at that time by removing a file in the windows system 32 folder. I believe it was called something like wga.dll or wgachk.dll. Good luck.

You can also reinstall windows with WGAcrack in the disk package (needs to be xp SP2!).

I agree with vucko. I downloaded the genuinexp.net.tc files and the 3rd one has a keylogger and other spyware in it. It was detected by mcafee, so I deleted the lot and have used genuanewindowspatcher.rar with no problem, as it is clean and has NO trojans in it.

How ever I’d still like to know to to get around this problem. I bought my XP Pro legit. The shop gave me a disc in a sealed cover and told me that they had to do anything with changing Windows XP otherwise it would void the guarantee. Since then, the shop has gone and when I had to do a repair install…inside the sealed cover was just a blank CD.

They had conned me!!!!
