Sting 517D is the latest gaming laptop from WidowPC under its Sting Series. Powered by the hottest processor on the market, Intel’s Core 2 Duo, the 17-inch notebook features a 1920 x 1200 widescreen display, an Intel High Definition Audio, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 200GB of SATA hard drive. As for the graphics, gamers can choose from a wide-range of options, including nVIDIA GeForce Go 7800/7900/7950 GTX and nVIDIA Quadro FX Go 2500M graphics with 256MB and 512MB of DDR3 video memory. Multiplayer maniac would also enjoy various connectivity options provided, from the standard 56K modem, Bluetooth, LAN, to WiFI.
Priced at $2,195, WidowPC Sting 517D is also equipped with a FireWire port, Infrared, four USB ports, DVI out, S-Video in/out, serial port and an Express slot. Built-in webcam and optional TV tuner are there as well.
