UNI is a unique yet innovative modern computer concept designed by Richard Choi. In UNI, every importart functional part of the PC was separated and broke up into several modules. Whenever you want to upgrade your computer, all you have to do is buy the required modules and plug them near existing modules. The designer has also named each module with an easy to understand name. For example, the “THINK” module is where the main computer unit (processor) reside. While the “STORE” module goes to the hard drive.
UNI takes advantage of the Network HomePlug and wireless USB technologies, which allow digital signals to be transferred via normal household powerlines at 200mbps. The Wireless USB also lets different modules to communicate with each other at 480Mbps data transfer rate.
