Toshiba unveils its new laptop tablet PC under the Tecra range, the M7 model. Powered by an Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83GHz) processor and Intel 945PM Express chipset, this 14.1-inch Tablet PC comes with a 512MB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 4GB), 80GB of HDD, DVD Super Multi drive, and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 operating system. The display itself, engined by nVidia Quadro NVS 110M graphisc card, offers a wide viewing angle, Digitizer function, and 1440×900 WXGA+ resolution. About connectivity options, on the wired, you have the choices of the internal 56K modem and Gigabit Ethernet LAN, while for wireless communication, a Bluetooth and Wireless LAN are supported.
Measures 348 x 260 x 39.9 mm and weighs 2.79 kg, Toshiba’s Tecra M7 Tablet PC is also equipped with TV-out / S-Video interface, IEEE 1394 port, external microphone and headphone interfaces, 6-in-1 media card reader (SD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, MultiMedia Card, xD-Picture card, and SD IO), and four USB 2.0 ports. Its lithium-ion battery provides up to 3 hours of continous usage. No words on price and availability yet.
