Another notebooks that stole my attention at Mega Bazaar Computer 2006 yesterday are this Toshiba’s Satelite R10-S613 and Satelite R10-2301 Tablet PCs. Come on, who doesn’t want to have a Tablet PC? And the fact that the one from Toshiba is quite cheap really make me drool. For example the R10-S613 model. At just $1,625.95, you get a 14.1-inch notebook that is powered by Intel Pentium M 725 (Centrino 1.6GHz) processor with 2MB L2 cache, 60GB of hard drive, 512MB of RAM (expandable up to 2GB), and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 operating system. Furthermore you get a DVD/CD-RW combo drive, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, VGA/S-Video, SD card slot, PCMCIA slot, WiFI support, 10/100 Ethernet, and integrated 56K modem.

What about the R10-2301 model? This Tablet PC comes with an Intel Centrino Pentium M 725 (1.6GHz) processor with 2MB L2 cache and 400MHz FSB, Intel 855PM Express chipset, Intel PRO/Wireless 802.11b/g, 256MB of DDR SDRAM, 50GB of hard drive with 3D HDD motion sensor (hmmm, what is that?) and shock absorber, DVD/CD-RW combo drive, SD card slot, three USB 2.0 port, S-Video, and TV-Out capability. This 14.1-inch laptop is retailed at just $1,499! Very cheap, isn’t it? If you don’t really want Bluetooth support (unfortunately, I want it), then go for it!
