Toshiba Satellite P105 Series Laptops With Vista

After the Satellite P135 series, Toshiba released another two new Vista-ready Satellite series laptops, the U205 and P105 series. Now it’s time to check out the latter series. Scheduled to start shipping in January 30, P105 features a 14.1-inch widescreen LCD display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processors, a 2GB of DDR2 main memory, an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 graphics engine, and either Windows Vista Ultimate or Home Premium Edition operating system. The cool thing is, these laptops will come with an external USB TV tuner for receiving live TV broadcast from an anenna, cable, satellite set-top box. With Windows Media Center incorporated in Vista, users can also record the TV programme.
The first two laptops on Toshiba Satellite P105 series are the P105-S6207 and P105-S6217. Priced $1,599, P105-S6207 is equipped with a 160GB SATA hard drive, while P105-S617, with the estimated price of $1,649, comes with a 200GB SATA hard drive.
