We found this on Amazon. At just $729.99, this seems to be the cheapest Toshiba’s laptop on the A105 line-up. So, what’s inside this low-end notebook?

As you may predict, the S101 is powered by an Intel Celeron M processor with 400MHz frontside bus, 1MB L2 cache, and 1.6GHz processor speed. It has 256MB of PC4200 DDR2 SDRAM, 60GB of SATA hard drive, 15.4-inch WXGA (1280×800 resolution) active-matrix widescreen TFT LCD with Toshiba’s proprietary TruBrite technology, and ATI Mobility Radeon XPress 200M graphics card with up to 128MB shared video memory.

Other stuff packed are the DVD/CD-RW combo drive, 4 USB 2.0 ports, integrated Atheros WLAN (802.11b/g), 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet LAN, V.90 high-speed modem, and Express Media Player with CD/DVD launch and control buttons. All of these are inside 10.5 x 14.2 x 1.5 inches cases that weighs 6 pounds.
