Systemax, U.S.-based PC manufacturer, announced its first Intel Merom-powered notebook. Called Pursuit, this 15.4-inch widescreen laptop is retailed for just $999.99, which is quite a bargain. And incase you didn’t notice, many new Core 2 Duo-based laptops and PCs are beging offered at an affordable price, probably because of the upcoming Christmas and holiday season.
Back the Systemax Pursuit, the laptop features a Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.66GHz) CPU, a 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 80GB of SATA hard drive, an Intel Integrated Extreme Graphics 2, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a DVD burner. It comes preloaded with Windows XP Profession Edition operating system.
